Client Privacy Notice
This notice explains how DC Digital Talent handles personal information about clients, prospective clients, hiring managers, interviewers, and other business contacts.
Who controls your data
The controller is DC DIGITAL TALENT LTD, company number 17345526, registered in England and Wales.
Contact us at ryan@dc-digital-talent.com / grace@dc-digital-talent.com for privacy questions.
Information we may collect
We may collect your name, work email, phone number, job title, employer, LinkedIn or public professional profile, recruitment brief, hiring requirements, role details, interview feedback, commercial communications, and records of our conversations.
Why we use it and lawful bases
We use client contact and brief information to respond to enquiries, understand hiring needs, discuss possible recruitment support, manage candidate shortlists, arrange interviews, keep business records, and protect our legal position.
Our usual lawful bases are legitimate interests in running a recruitment business and communicating with business contacts, pre-contract or contract steps where services are being discussed or provided, and legal obligation where records must be retained.
Sharing
We may share relevant client brief information with candidates, service providers who support email, hosting, document storage, or business operations, and professional advisers where needed. We do not sell client contact data.
Retention
We keep client contact and brief records for as long as needed to manage the relationship, handle recruitment work, maintain business records, and respond to legal or contractual queries. We review old records and delete or minimise data when it is no longer needed.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our use of your personal data. You can also ask us to stop business development contact. Some rights depend on the lawful basis and context.
You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk if you are unhappy with how we handle your data.
